HUMC you are doing a great job in picking apples from our Lenten Apple Orchard.For those of you that have not gotten an apple yet, we still have plenty of beautiful red apples for ‘your pickin’.Your HUMC Missions team asks that you stop by one of the Apple Trees and pick an apple or two so that all our Going and Huffman Middle School teachers can get the wishes they need.The ‘Apple Tree bulletin boards’ are located in the Sunday school area of the DDR, on the bulletin wall in front of the coffee pot as you enter the education building and outside of the fellowship hall.If you would like to participate in this mission project but can’t do the shopping, you may make a monetary donation for the purchase of these supplies.For those giving monetary donations, please make your check payable to the church and note that it is for the Lenten Mission project.You may turn in your check to the church office or mail/give it to Kathy George.Don’t forget your donations are due back to the church no later than Palm Sunday, 4/5/09.Just drop your donations off at the Welcome Center.Thank you for supporting this mission project and thank you for being a Disciple in Action for Christ!
